TOBOSO’S EXISTING FINGER PORT

Toboso’s main competitive edge is its proposed port with its 16-meter quayside draft which can accommodate modern and bigger post-panama international vessels.  It is situated in the tañon strait which is now considered as the “international boulevard” of the Visayas with its wide, safe and very deep shipping lane.  The shallow and expose 16 hectares bay at arcolon point which juts out of Manlagtang bay will be land-filled and converted into the main container port and berthing areas.
